[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”40px”][vc_column_text css_animation=”none”]Fedegari Autoclavi S.p.A. has launched an ambitious energy efficiency project aimed at decarbonizing<\/strong> and achieving greater energy autonomy<\/strong> for its production facility. The initiative, titled “Fedegari Campus \u2013 Energy Center Phase 1”<\/strong>, represents a strategic investment in industrial innovation<\/strong> and environmental sustainability<\/strong>, aligned with ESG principles<\/strong> and B Corp standards<\/strong>.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][vc_empty_space height=”20px”][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/12″][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” equal_height=”yes” css_animation=”none” css=”.vc_custom_1751962813153{margin-top: 60px !important;}” el_id=”content”][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text css_animation=”none”]<\/p>\n

The project includes the integration of advanced technologies for the efficient production and management of energy, such as:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Installation of an 800 kWp photovoltaic system, with an annual output of approx. 1,000 MWh\u2014over 80% of which will be self-consumed, with the remainder fed into the grid.<\/li>\n
  • Replacement of outdated boilers with a new high-efficiency steam boiler (96% efficiency) to support production processes.<\/li>\n
  • Installation of three heat pumps, including one geothermal unit, for heating purposes, replacing old gas-based systems.<\/li>\n
  • Implementation of a BEMS<\/strong> (Building Energy Management System) for intelligent and centralized control of the plant\u2019s overall energy consumption.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    These interventions will lead to significant sustainability outcomes:<\/p>\n

    • Reduction of CO\u2082 emissions<\/strong> by 406 tons\/year, equivalent to 32% of the site\u2019s total emissions<\/li>\n
    • Overall energy demand reduction of 808 MWh\/year<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Greater energy independence<\/strong> and resilience to energy price fluctuations<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      This project marks Phase 1<\/strong> of a broader long-term plan, which includes Phase 2<\/strong>: the construction of a multi-functional water reservoir<\/strong> for agriculture and floating solar energy production\u2014merging industrial development with local environmental enhancement<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
